Auckland Car Club - Airforce Experience

On Saturday 21 Jan it is “Wash and polish” your Fraser day....(At your house).
Top and bottom, side and wheels. Polish your ali if you have some.
Rub the rubber, dust the dash, fancy the fabric.

Sunday 22 Jan.   Weather permitting of course.
Be at my place (email ida@fraser.co.nz for address) 11.00  for a convoy drive to RNZAF Base Whenuapai.
Where we will converge at 5 Squadron hanger for some photo opportunities, group and singular with an Orion P3 sub hunter as the back drop.

We may have use of an official RNZAF Photographer to take some shots but bring your own Box Brownies as well.
Intention is for single car and whole group poses and I will submit to Classic Car magazine for publication if they wish.
 
Prerequisites:

1.       Drivers and passengers to have photo ID for base access ( passport or driving license ).
2.       Warning: There is strictly no smoking on the Flight line. Speed on Base roads is limited to  30Km radar enforced... and on the Flight Line speed is limited to walking pace.
3.       Form up in three’s, toes to the line and I will march you over to.... only joking.
4.       Your car will be inspected as you drive on to the flight line for FOD. ( pebbles sticking to tyres etc, are an aircraft hazard )
5.       Car numbers are limited to 10 only so essential that you RSVP to me as quick as you can or you may miss out, first in first served.
6.       Strictly No Touch on the Aeroplane(s) or any ground equipment.
 
At the conclusion we will convoy back to my place for a BBQ!!!
So bring some Sausages and a drink etc, Salad and rolls provided.
